Posted by SYSA Baseball at Feb 9, 2023 10:27PM PST ( 0 Comments )

Welcome Back Sandtown Family!!

It’s been a WHOLE 2 years…soooo much has changed…but the one constant we’ve had is our community!! We have truly missed all of you!!

So…with that, we want to work our way back to baseball thriving in our backyard! Are you all ready? We’ve heard you are, so we are coming back with registration opening on Friday, February 10th through March 10th, 2023.

Now, remember…we’ve been gone for some time, so it’s going to take some energy and good vibes to get everyone in the baseball spirit. Our community has never let us down and we know you’ll come through again. To make this season the best ever, we are going to need all the help we can get. Let’s be ready to jump in and take ownership for our kids experiences!

We are always looking for volunteers to help with coaching, so if you are interested, please email us at info@sandtownpark.com for more details OR FILL OUT this form. Don’t worry…if you don’t volunteer and we need you…we will find you!!

2022 Baseball @ Sandtown

Posted by SYSA Baseball at Apr 29, 2022 4:39PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

Hello Sandtown Community!! WE have certainly missed all of you!! We hope that you and your families have been finding a way to stay SAFE and ACTIVE while we all try to work back to our “New Normal” way of life.

We have heard from many of our Sandtown Families and Coaches waiting to see when we will have a baseball season back in our community. Our association has been working closely with the City to ensure we are prepared to host a season for our community like we are accustomed to having. While the timing didn’t quite work out to host that season this year, know that we are certainly planning for next year and as always…we will need YOU to make it the BEST season ever!

Look out for potential opportunities for Fall Baseball training in preparation for Spring 2023! We can’t wait to see you all back at Sandtown!

2021 Spring Baseball Season - Cancelled

Posted by SYSA Baseball at Feb 22, 2021 5:56AM PST

The City of South Fulton has not yet approved our park to resume recreation sports. Given the amount of time/effort it would take to start the season and that many of our families have gone to nearby parks to continue playing, we have decided to not have a baseball season this Spring. That said, we continue to listen and take guidance from the CoSF as to when it will be safe enough to resume activities at the park.

As soon as we know more, we will be sure to post it here and email our families on those developments.
